Lieutenant Oluchukwu Owowoh is in the Nigerian Armed Forces At the age of 24, she was recognized as the first female Nigerian officer to graduate from the esteemed Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RAMS) in the United Kingdom.

Lieutenant Oluchukwu graduated with First Class Honours in Biological Sciences from the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State where in her 5th year she had been appointed as Company Senior Under Officer Charlie - the first woman to hold this position. Lieutenant Oluchukwu is a trail blazer for young women aspiring to break barriers in traditionally male dominated professions.
